Cancellation Policy
Plans change. Our terms are deliberately flexible — free cancellation up to 30 days before you travel.

More than 30 days before departure
Cancel free of charge. Your deposit is refunded in full and no administration fee applies.
30 to 15 days before departure
The deposit is retained, but it can be transferred in full to a new departure date within 12 months. If you prefer a refund, we return the deposit minus any hotel or national park costs already committed on your behalf.
14 days or less before departure
Non-refundable supplier costs — confirmed hotel nights, safari jeep and park permits, train reservations — are deducted, and everything remaining is refunded.
Rescheduling
Every private tour includes one free date change when requested more than 15 days before departure, subject to hotel availability. There is no fee from us; occasionally a hotel rate difference applies.
If we cancel
In the very rare event that we cannot operate your tour, you receive a full refund of everything paid, or an alternative departure of equal value — your choice.
Weather, flights and force majeure
Sri Lanka's two monsoons mean there is nearly always a dry coast, so we reroute rather than cancel. If a flight cancellation, natural event or government restriction prevents you from travelling, we hold your payment as an open credit valid for 24 months.

Email ceylonboundholidays@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +94 77 431 8220 with your name and travel dates. Cancellations take effect from the time we receive your message, and we confirm in writing the same day.
